ASSISTANT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION MANAGER

This is a key position created to facilitate growth, we are willing to train the right person. The opening for this position came about due the promotion the current ACAM.

Responsible for managing administrative aspects of multiple Associations with assistance from CAM team members. Assists Accounting team with monthly reporting for HOAs.

Coordinates with Property Managers on routine and ongoing projects.

Communicates needs and information among Managers, homeowners, and vendors. Ensures information is up to date and accurate.

Performs a wide variety of administrative services. Work may require some travel to attend CACM educational classes toward full certification.

ACAM Key responsibilities include with assistance from CAM team members and Accounting personnel:

Able to answer basic questions and resolve basic issues for HOA Board Members, Owners, Vendors and prospective clients. Directing them to appropriate CAM personnel for assistance.

Able to perform some accounting functions including Accounts Payable, answer questions from HOA Owners, Vendors and Board Members, and, where possible, assist with preparation of reports and distribution of monthly accounting reports to various HOAs.

Able to schedule tasks and projects to be completed in a timely and organized manner.

Able to understand complex HOA issues and to determine when to escalate an issue to the appropriate CAM or other manager.

Able to be a key communicator with the HOA boards, members, vendors, internal Maintenance Department, internal Accounting Department. Distributes all Community Association communications in the most efficient manner.

Use of a paperless environment, email opt-in and website to achieve efficient record management and communication.

Proficient in MS Office.

Ability to read and understand the basics of HOA contracts. Able to accurately research and quote contract terms if there are questions about services.
