OVERVIEW
We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual who can work out of their home preparing individual, corporate and partnership tax returns for our CPA office in tax season and beyond working on extensions. This is a permanent part-time position to replace a retiring employee who filled this position for over 10 years. Approximately 150 250 hours dependent upon level of skills with the flexibility to increase your work load it you like as we grow. Compensation dependent upon experience and qualifications. Our compensation system offers bonuses as an incentive to greater productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Preparing individual, corporate and partnership tax returns
Helping manage client relationship through good communication
QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed EA or CPA
Has PTIN
Own computer and have a suitable home office environment to perform work and speak to clients on the phone without interruptions.
Proficient in Excel and Word. Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus and Adobe as both are used.
Good communication skills with clients and our office when speaking on the phone
EXPERIENCE
3 or more years of recent tax preparation experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Wants to work out of their home so their residence can be anywhere in Northern Nevada.
Self-motivated enjoying working on their own
Dependable and loyal
Wants flexibility in being able to work on their own schedule day or night, weekends or even away from home while traveling.
Wants part time work and both wants and has flexibility to take on more work or less as may be the case
