We are paying top dollar $23-$28 plus a sign on bonus for quality caregivers. This is not a companionship type of job. This job is total care of a total quad You must know and understand all ADLs (activities of daily living). Some light cleaning also necessary.
The position available is working with a very active senior quadriplegic gentleman. This is a full-time dayshift position, days available are Thursday through Saturday. Three days is considered full-time, the shifts are 12 hour shifts.
We need quality caregivers immediately.
Dayshift duties included some dressing of client, providing (cooking and feeding) meals and all normal ADLs. Driving is a must as this person is very active.
Some medical knowledge is preferred and definitely necessary, all of his equipment is top of the wine and well maintained. Heavy lifting is not required. Extensive orientation and further training is provided (four days) plus ongoing training. We would prefer that this be a long-term position to establish good report with the client. Most requirements listed below are paid for by the hiring agency.
