We have temporary positions available for day and swing shifts Sunday 10/26/2025 through Tuesday 10/28 at the Reno Sparks Livestock Event Center on Wells Avenue. There are several horse shows that occupy the facility and employees will help to clean out the stalls. Each stall is filled with pellets that are then swept out into the common area and scooped up by a tractor. Some employees may have the opportunity to assist with building temporary enclosures (pens), carrying metal panels and connecting pieces with metal pins. Interested candidates should consider working around livestock and the smells that come with them, as well as various weather factors such as beating sun or pouring rain.
Two shifts are available:
6:00m-2:30pm
2:30pm-11:00pm
The hourly rate of pay is $15/hr and payments are issued daily during regular business hours, payments are available by paper paycheck or visa pay card. Employees are required to wear long pants and a pair of boots.
We accept online and walk-in applications at our office Monday-Friday from 8:00am-1:15pm.
