The Judicial secretary reporting to the Hearing Officer (HO) will be responsible for calendaring duties including reset dates, notices, and of stacked and time certain hearings. Direct HO liaison for telephone status checks responsible for informing HO of case status for instruction. Provides skilled legal clerical support, creating and monitoring all court correspondence, pleadings, motions, orders, resets, stipulations, application and decisions for HO signature. Distinguish priorities and route files to the appropriate courtroom, monitor court reporters and interpreters, and note all changes on HO daily calendar. Acts as HO liaison to the public, attorneys, laymen, and employer representatives. Performs all clerical and administrative duties as may be necessary.
