Duties will include renewing satellite phone and Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) subscriptions as required and develop policies for training and asset control; meeting with Tribal Clinics for planning and exercise needs; strengthen Incident Management within Tribal Health Systems and augment countermeasures and mitigation. Other duties include assisting with developing NIMS/Preparedness Frameworks; invest in tribal relationships; support completion of numerous plans for tribal support, encourage participation in the Intrastate Mutual Aid System, completion of programmatic reporting, and assistance with financial reporting. Activation as a member of the Emergency Operations Center may be necessary in the event of a major emergency. This may serve to disrupt/alter/revise or totally change all previously established work performance standards, requiring 100% of the time, until the emergency is over.
