Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the education industry at a University located in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. We are in search of a Software Developer to become a part of our team. As a Software Developer, you will be tasked with creating and maintaining C# applications, designing solutions using Microsoft Azure, collaborating with stakeholders, and integrating Oracle databases with .NET applications. Responsibilities: Create and maintain high-performing C# applications Design and implement solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps Engage in collaborations with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and convert them into technical solutions Integrate Oracle databases with .NET applications to ensure data consistency, performance, and security Write efficient, reusable code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards Troubleshoot and debug application issues, and provide timely resolutions Contribute to the design and architecture of new solutions to meet business needs Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Requirements Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Software Developer role within the education industry, preferably in a university setting. Proficiency in C# - Sharp programming language is mandatory. Demonstrated experience with cloud solutions, specifically Microsoft Azure, is required. Solid understanding of Oracle database management systems. Extensive experience with SharePoint for collaboration and document management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think algorithmically. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure. Continual learner who stays up-to-date on the latest industry knowledge and trends. Knowledge of software development methodologies and lifecycle management.
