Mainframe Infrastructure Engineering Lead (Systems Software)

Key ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of mainframe hardware and software lifecycle management initiativesManage teams supporting multiple z/OS mainframe environmentsProvide technical leadership across core mainframe technologies including JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS, source code management, and SDLC practicesOversee security mechanisms such as RACF, ACF2, and TSSDrive modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of mainframe servicesPartner with data center services, production services, and application development teams to support enterprise initiativesLead and develop managers and technical staff through coaching, mentoring, and talent development practicesGuide cross?functional efforts and complex programs to successful outcomesQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field6–10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience10+ years of diverse IT experience preferred; financial services experience is a plusStrong experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application developmentDirect hands-on mainframe experience is requiredProven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projectsStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholdersStrategic mindset with strong analytical and problem?solving capabilitiesTechnical Skills (Preferred)z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCDSMP/E and maintenance routinesJCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSOInstallation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV softwareITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change ManagementExperience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms.Regards,Mohammed ilyas,PH - 229-264-4024 or Text - 229-469-1455 or you can share the updated resume at Mohammed@vtekis. com
