OverviewThe Department of Rehab Medicine seeks a per diem Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient hand therapy team. Be a part of a robust rehab team in a leading healthcare facility, and assist patients in developing, improving, and recovering the necessary skills needed to perform their daily activities after surgery, illness, or injury. Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members.

Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching.Document progression towards goal achievement with appropriate billing for services provided.

Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, team huddles, etc

Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping.

Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings.

Delegates tasks to support personnel.

Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required

Required Licensure/Certifications

New Hampshire licensure required

BLS certification required
