Title: Senior Production Support Engineer

Primary Location : Merrimack, NHOther Locations : Durham, NC / Westlake, TX / Jersey City, NJ

Job Type : Hybrid (1 week per month onsite)

Duration: 1 Year

Min Pays Rate: $60/hr on W2 only

Must Have:
  • Cloud Technologies (AWS)
  • Production support
  • Linux
  • Must have exposure to 2 or 3 of the following: REST APIs,

    Java, Python, NodeJS, SQL, AWS,

    Linux, Angular

The Expertise We’re Looking For:
  • Strong fundamentals in Computer Science
  • Financial services experience a plus
  • Experience working in Agile lifecycle methodology

The Skills You Bring:

Technical
  • Experience in incident and problem management on a Level 1 Production Support team required
  • Experience in supporting applications with 2 or 3 of the following technologies: Java, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, PL/SQL, Linux, AWS, Python, NodeJS, and Angular.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, monitoring and cloud computing skills
  • Understanding of architectural patterns, micro-services, messaging/event driven frameworks and enterprise databases in an agile environment.
  • Practical experience in CI/CD practices.
  • Ability to tackle a range of issues including networking related ones. Familiarity with Splunk and Datadog tools.
  • Understanding of server infrastructure and server certificates
  • Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, cloud deployment tools a plus
  • GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Concourse, uDeploy exposure a plus

Behavioral:
  • Phenomenal written and verbal communication skills and follow-through are essential for this role
  • Experience leading the coordination of problem-solving efforts and crisis management
  • Passion for technology and fixing sophisticated problems.
  • Ability to develop partnerships with users, Architecture and Engineering teams
  • Promote an environment of innovation to improve standard methodologies and production support processes
  • In partnership with the delivery and engineering leads in US and India, help advance and support product, delivery and technical practices
  • Demonstrate a deep passion for technology and financial domain and an ability to tap into the creative minds of the engineering team

The

Skills that are Good to Have for this role:
  • Domain experience with exposure to Brokerage operations
  • Exposure to working in Cloud Technologies like AWS
  • Exposure in Message Oriented Middleware – JMS, ActiveMQ, Apache Kafka
  • Experience in agile methodology
  • Solid understanding in Oracle and/or DynamoDB
