Part Time Chef - Mercure Newcastle

We are currently seeking a Part Time Chef to join the professional and dynamic kitchen team. You will be working across a variety of shifts including breakfast, conferences or dinner.This is a great role for someone studying cookery and wanting some experience in a kitchen or for an experienced cook wanting some extra hours.Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Prepare, cook and serve food for the breakfast buffet showing variety and flairPrepare food for our all day dining and cafePrepare and cook food as per menu Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage following stock control procedures Keep all working areas clean and tidy. Chef is required to wash all dishes during service Ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned. Report any problems to the Head Chef
