Launch your engineering career with hands-on training and real-world experience.SGS IVE is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated School Leaver to join our New Plymouth team as an Apprentice Valve Technician.This role is ideal for a recent school leaver with a passion for industrial engineering and a desire to gain a Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.What You’ll Be Doing:Learn all aspects of valve overhaul and repair, both in the workshop and on customer sites.Assist with valve refurbishments under supervision.Complete training and customer inductions to work safely and effectively on-site.Maintain workshop cleanliness and machinery.Undertake training and assessments as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Branch Manager.
