We are seeking an experienced individual to work as a leader in our diet office approximately 16 hours per week including some holiday coverage by arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Patient visitation for menu selection and meal satisfaction
Documenting meal preferences, reviewing menu selection for diet adherence
Meal ticket preparation according to MD orders
Assists in dietary software management and data entry.
Oversight of and participation in meal delivery systems as needed.
Works with the RD to provide assistance and education to dietary staff as needed.
Must attend department meetings during the week with the RD and FSD.
Qualifications
Registered Diet Tech or Nutrition degree is preferred but will consider a candidate with significant experience. Must have knowledge of special diets, texture modifications and excellent people skills. Knowledge of Epic software a plus.
Schedule:
This job requires the following hours: 11:30-6:30 Saturday, Sunday and some holidays.
Job share may be considered. Applicants must be available for communications meetings with department leadership for 2 hours per week by arrangement.
