Transfer Staff/ Funeral Assistant
Our funeral homes, with establishments in both NH and MA is seeking a professional, flexible individual to help with transfers (on a consistent, on-call & as-needed basis), as well as help with calling hours, funerals and burials.
Past experience working in funeral homes is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided.
Usual tasks include:
Transferring remains from place of death to facility
Assisting Funeral Director & other staff on Calling Hours & Funeral Services
Other tasks including but not limited to:
Assist in serving as pallbearer if necessary
Assist in transferring floral arrangements to flower car
Driving funeral vehicles if needed (hearse, limo, flower car, ect.)
Assisting with Setting up flowers at graveside
Assistance in breaking down and cleaning up after a funeral service
Directing auto & pedestrian traffic on services
