Bernie & Phyl's Furniture is currently looking for a Full Time Designer in our beautiful Nashua, NH location.

Description: Develop and take charge of the visual appearance of the store. Execute visual strategies by creating and maintaining displays on sales floor and windows/foyers where applicable. Contribute to the store's profitability by the handling, replenishment and inventory control of all store accessories.

Responsibilities:

Receiving all incoming PO's for accessories into GERS. Ensure all goods are properly assembled and tagged for sale on the floor.

Create visual displays on your own and/or with guidance from the lead visual designer and accessory buyer. These displays should be created and maintained to engage our customers and help stimulate sales.

Be involved in all floor moves and ensure that all vignettes are properly accessorized with all appropriate POP materials once moves are completed.

Responsible for accessory inventory, accessory transfers, markdowns and clearance of outdated merchandise.

Follow both verbal and written instruction from Lead Visual Designer/Store Manager/ Merchandise Manager/Accessory Buyer. Must give great attention to detail.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Must be physically fit and able to move merchandise that may weigh up to 50 lbs.

Background in store display is a must.

Must be creative, self-motivated, reliable and possess a strong work ethic.

Must have organizational, planning and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects, achieve goals and meet deadlines.

Must be collaborative and have interpersonal and communication skills.
