About the Position:
As a Senior Automotive Technician you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of foreign and domestic cars and light trucks. You will work with the latest diagnostic equipment and tools to ensure our customers' vehicles are running smoothly and safely.
What You’ll Do:
Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
Diagnose and repair various automotive systems including mechanical, electrical and brake systems, power trains, suspensions, etc.
Conduct routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, etc.).
Replace worn parts and components.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Document repairs and services accurately.
Stay up-to-date on automotive technology and industry best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
Required:
◦ 10+ years of experience in automotive repair.
◦ Ability to read and interpret diagnostic codes and technical information.
◦ Willingness to learn and develop advanced automotive repair skills.
◦ Excellent problem-solving skills.
◦ Strict attention to detail and cleanliness.
◦ Your own common tools for automotive work – 1/4" drive, 3/8" drive, and 1/2" drive sockets and ratchets, wrenches, pliers, etc.
◦ A positive and professional attitude.
Preferred:
◦ Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical).
◦ ASE Certifications (any).
◦ New Hampshire state inspection certification.
◦ Experience with domestic and foreign automobiles and light trucks. Experience repairing German vehicles (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Volkswagen, etc) is a plus!
◦ Experience with computer diagnostics.
