The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle.You will work in Pelham, New Hampshire as part of the Patriot RADAR Software Team. What You Will DoParticipate in the requirements, design, development and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools, to include development of the new SW work products and enhancement of existing applications and systems to meet program needs.Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.Participate in internal review of software components and systems.Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products.This position requires onsite presence and extensive interaction with other groups including Systems Design engineering, System Integration and Test, Hardware design Engineering, and the Software Development Team.Travel between Raytheon sites in Tewksbury, MA, Andover, MA, and Pelham, NH.Occasional travel White Sands Missile Range (El Paso, Tx) may be requiredOff hours testing (2nd or 3rd shift) occasionally may also be required.Qualifications You Must HaveRequires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)Experience with C, C, Java or similar higher level programming language.Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
