Description We are seeking a Programmer Analyst to join our team in Peterborough, New Hampshire. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining computer applications on the IBM iSeries platform. The successful candidate will implement updates and changes to our existing system software while also focusing on the delivery of new projects using cutting-edge technology. This position offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Utilize your skills in iSeries/RPG programming to write, test, debug, implement, and document programs Assist in system upgrades, modifications, and maintenance tasks using Infor browser space and NetLink Contribute to the development and utilization of software systems to increase efficiency and accomplish business objectives Participate in the analysis and definition of business requirements for system changes and enhancements Provide necessary training and support to other team members Participate actively in project planning, system and data analysis, system testing, and documentation Troubleshoot technical issues during the software development process Collaborate effectively with team members, project managers, and other stakeholders Adhere to and enhance the organization's quality standards to meet customer requirements. Requirements Demonstrable experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role Proficiency in IBM iSeries and AS400 systems Expertise in IBM - RPG programming language Familiarity with Infor XA ERP system Experience in a manufacturing environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively Proven track record in project management and delivering software projects within scope, on time, and within budget Demonstrable experience in improving and optimizing software systems Strong understanding of software development life cycle models Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
