Data Analyst

Partner directly with business and product initiatives (e.g. Broker Quoting Tool, Embedded Finance) to frame the right questions, design sound analyses, and interpret results with appropriate statistical rigourApply hypothesis-driven thinking to test assumptions, systematically rule out alternative explanations, and build cumulative, contextual knowledge of the business over time — going beyond what point-in-time AI querying can provideBuild a track record of shipped analyses that demonstrably changed a decision or a team's understanding — not just dashboards or ad hoc fact-finding Drive adoption of an experimentation mindset across teams: framing decisions as testable hypotheses, tracking outcomes, and building an evidence base that compounds across initiatives rather than resetting with each request Own delivery of hypothesis-driven analyses from framing through to recommendation, partnering with Data Engineering to consume the governed semantic layer rather than duplicating data prep Work closely with the Data Architecture & Strategy Lead to prioritise analytical focus against the team's active strategic initiatives
