To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do.We are currently seeking a Hardware Deployment Technician. Primary PurposeThe Hardware Deployment Technician supports the IT asset lifecycle refresh by provisioning, deploying, and configuring laptops and mobile devices for all users, ensuring each device meets company standards and is accurately tracked in ServiceNow and Intune. This role assists users with initial setup and troubleshooting, helping to maintain regulatory compliance, operational reliability, and user satisfaction as part of the IT Sustainability Fund (ITSF) program, which aims to modernize infrastructure, enhance cybersecurity, and improve employee productivity through effective asset management and support.Key Accountabilities/ResponsibilitiesProvision and prepare laptops, iPhones, and Mac devices for deployment, ensuring all hardware is configured to company standards.Deliver hands-on support to employees during device rollout, assisting with initial setup and user onboarding.Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware and software issues during deployment, minimizing user downtime.Log all deployed devices accurately in ServiceNow’s Hardware Asset Management module and Intune, ensuring asset records are up to date and compliant.Guide users through the setup process, providing clear instructions and support for connecting to company systems and applications.Perform device checks and validation to ensure security, compliance, and operational readiness before handover.Coordinate with IT teams to address escalated deployment or configuration issues, ensuring timely resolution.Maintain inventory records, track asset movements, and support the refresh and retirement of hardware assets.Communicate proactively with users, keeping them informed throughout the deployment process.
