Technical Lead, Core Lending

As Technical Lead for the Core Lending team, you will own both the people and the delivery of one of Lumi’s most critical engineering streams. Core Lending powers credit decisioning, risk assessment, compliance, and operational efficiency across Lumi’s SME lending platform.This is a player-coach role. You will stay hands-on with delivery while owning team performance, technical direction, and execution across Core Lending and a matrix of engineers in other teams.The team’s current focus spans credit decisioning automation, KYC/AML compliance, open banking, and tooling improvements that reduce manual handling across Sales, Credit, and Operations.You will report to the Head of Engineering, based in Sydney on a hybrid basis (3 days per week).
