Operations Centre Supervisor

Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role As an Operations Centre Supervisor, you’ll be the steady hand ensuring Contact’s generation assets are offered, dispatched, monitored, and scheduled for optimal performance. You’ll use real-time systems to keep everything running safely and efficiently, adapting to changing conditions and making decisions that maximise value and minimise risk.You’ll:Operate Contact’s generation assets safely using real-time SCADA and other systems.Schedule and dispatch assets within hydrological and legislative constraints, optimising fuel efficiency and plant capability.Analyse market and environmental behaviour to spot opportunities for improvement and financial gain.Support and coach your team, helping others reach their full potential.Work closely with key team members to proactively manage issues and support Contact’s strategy.Monitor environmental and plant conditions, ensuring compliance with the Resource Management Act (RMA) and other regulations.Lead by example in health and safety, creating a safe environment for everyone.
