Health, Safety & Environment Manager

As our Health, Safety & Environment Manager, you will provide leadership and direction across our precinct, Pullman, Novotel & ibis Budget hotels to ensure we deliver on all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) strategies, initiatives, and compliance requirements. You will be responsible for embedding a strong safety culture, coordinating environmental and sustainability initiatives, and guiding our leaders to create a safe and supportive workplace.Your role will include:Developing, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety & Environment strategies and policies.Managing incident reporting, investigations, risk and security assessments, and accident prevention.Leading WHS Committees, audits, emergency response procedures, and compliance training.Overseeing workplace rehabilitation and ACC processes.Driving environmental initiatives, sustainability projects, and ESG reporting.Providing accurate monthly reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making.Coaching, mentoring, and guiding leaders and team members to embrace proactive HSE practices.This is a pivotal role where you will engage with a variety of stakeholders internally (leaders, team members, Accor colleagues) and externally (WorkSafe NZ, ACC, auditors, insurers, and governing bodies).
