In this role, you will help secondary school learners and their whānau navigate university options with confidence, ensuring they have the information, guidance and support they need to make informed decisions.As the Schools and Community Recruitment Adviser, you will work closely with designated faculties to deliver well‑coordinated outreach, engagement and recruitment activities across schools and communities. You will serve as the key link between faculties and the Schools and Community Engagement team to ensure a cohesive, high‑quality recruitment experience. In addition, you will:Deliver engaging school and community presentations, events and outreach activities to attract and support prospective school‑leaver students.Coordinate discipline‑specific outreach, engagement and recruitment initiatives in partnership with designated faculties.Provide programme‑specific insights and expertise to shape compelling digital and in‑person engagement content.Build strong relationships with careers advisers, teachers, school leaders, students, whānau and community groups.Monitor school‑leaver applications, offers and enrolments in your faculty portfolio, contributing to achieving recruitment targets.Identify and implement opportunities to enhance the school‑leaver experience and strengthen engagement activities.This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract. The salary range for this role is $73,400 – $90,700, depending on skills and experience.For more detailed information, please review the position description Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou | What we offerThe University of Auckland is New Zealand's leading University and maintains significant computational, laboratory, and analytic facilities.
