Job Description:
We are an accounting firm specializing in the restaurant and hospitality industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable and/or General Ledger Specialist. Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable entry - ensure accurate and timely entry of vendor invoices and payments
Bill Payment - handle payment processes and ensure all payments are properly accounted for
Bank Reconciliations - perform weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal financial records
Payroll Processing - assist with preparation and processing of payroll for our clients
Daily Sales Entry
Drafting and Finalizing P&L Reports
Qualifications:
Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or auditing, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant sector
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Compeat (or other accounting software), and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work in office in Hamilton Township, NJ
