CLIENT OVERVIEW:
Our client is a large scale and rapidly growing organization that is looking to add a Credit and Collections Specialist to help grow their accounting team. They are seeking candidates with a background of a minimum of 2 to 4 years of applicable experience and that are analytically driven.
SALARY/HOURLY RATE:
$24-$25/hr
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Credit and Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collection all the outstanding accounts receivables from clients and customers. This role may also be responsible for the other aspects of collections, such as analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of account and client utilizing credit risk management tools. The Credit and Collections Specialist research account disputes and billing discrepancies while responding to credit inquiries from internal and external clients. Experience with AI collection services is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST:
Assisting customers with inquiries
Reconciling customer account as needed
Creating and maintain credit history files
Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
Supporting the collection efforts and calls for accounts receivable portfolio
Forecast cash collection and report to management on AR status
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CREDIT AND COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST:
Minimum of 2 years of collection experience is required
Working with AI Collection processes with major corporate clients
Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot tables and V-Lookups)
Experience with ERP systems, JDE is a plus
Possess effective communication skills
Detail oriented and strong work ethic
