We are a busy, well-established Italian restaurant in East Brunswick Area looking for a skilled, reliable Chef / Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This is a high-volume operation, so we’re looking for someone who can move fast without sacrificing quality.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience cooking Italian cuisine (pasta, sauces, proteins, sauté, prep)
Ability to handle high-volume service during peak hours
Strong knife skills and knowledge of scratch cooking
Experience working on the line (sauté, grill, pasta stations)
Clean, organized, and food-safety focused
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Ability to follow recipes while maintaining consistency
Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute Italian dishes to restaurant standards
Work efficiently during lunch and dinner rushes
Maintain a clean, organized workstation
Assist with prep, sauces, and daily kitchen tasks
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
