As a Dryer Vent & Chimney Safety Inspector, you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety and efficiency by maintaining clean and well-functioning chimney and dryer vent systems.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of dryer vent and chimney systems. Good communication, attention to details, good interpersonal interactions with homeowners a must.
Utilize specialized equipment to clean dryer vents and components, including dismantling of the clothes dryers.
Remove lint, debris, and potential blockages to enhance safety and performance.
Ensure proper resealing and repair of access points post-cleaning.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate work schedules and assignments.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries professionally.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.
Requirements:
Previous experience in dryer vent cleaning, chimneys or HVAC maintenance is preferred. Ability to dismantle and reassemble clothes dryers to clean out the interiors.
Knowledge of dryer vent systems and components.
Familiarity with industry-standard cleaning techniques and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to lift and maneuver equipment as required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including every other Saturday.
Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
