SUMMARY

As Order Picker you will be tasked daily to pull orders off of pallets using our order picker. You will also be required to perform a number of different roles related to material handling; such as stocking, shipping, inventory and more; but no matter which role you find yourself in, attention to detail is expected. You must also be prepared and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete work assignments and priorities
Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics / integrity
Perform order picking using a man-up order picker. (We will train you and you will be harnessed in the entire time.)
Perform Loader duties as assigned by moving and loading products manually and with fork truck/order picker truck.
Perform Order-filler / Breakpack duties as assigned
Perform Packer duties as assigned
Inventory movement with fork truck
Truck unloading
Driving box truck between our 2 locations (5 miles apart)
Basic material handling
Movement of inventory on pallets
Sorting and storing inventory
Computer inventory
Picking/packing
Kit assembly
Various other warehouse projects
QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of shipping experience
1+ years of receiving experience
1+ years of inventory management
1+ year(s) of Man-up Order Picker is a plus (but no worries, we will train you!)
Good computer skills
Ability to manage a fast-paced workload
Valid driver's license.
Microsoft Office (a plus).
Able to read, speak, and write in the English language.
Able to work with carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
Standing/walking for 8-9 hours per day is common for this position, as well as frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, and climbing stairs.
