This is a part/full-time on-site role for a Machine Shop Assistant at Hydracore in Metuchen, NJ. The Machine Shop Assistant will support the shop's day-to-day operations, including maintaining equipment, delivery/pick-up, assisting with production tasks, and ensuring a safe and efficient workflow.
Qualifications
Prior experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment helpful
Knowledge of machine tools and equipment preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
Clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
US Citizen
