Garden State Truck & Auto Inc. is a fast-growing towing and auto service business focused on exceptional customer service and reliable vehicle care. We’re looking for a versatile and organized Auto Mechanic/Office Manager to handle both vehicle maintenance and the daily operations of our office.
Responsibilities:
As an Auto Mechanic:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs (e.g., brakes, engines, transmissions, tires).
Conduct safety inspections and ensure all vehicles meet regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
As an Office Manager:
Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, dispatch coordination, and customer service.
Manage billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
Keep inventory of parts, supplies, and office materials.
Supervise and support staff, ensuring smooth business operations.
Requirements:
Certification or experience as an auto mechanic (ASE certification preferred).
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance.
Experience in office management or administrative roles (not necessary).
Proficiency in using computers, including scheduling and invoicing software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
