Looking for an enthusiastic LEGAL RESIDENT/individual with an interest in learning all aspects of carpentry and house construction. Our main market is old house restoration but we also do plenty of new, custom, and remodeling.
Must have driver’s license and transportation. Must have basic carpenter hand tools and tool belt.
The ideal candidate will possess an interest in the building trades and the initiative to work hard doing strenuous manual labor: you definitely should not be afraid of heights.
Only candidates within a reasonable distance to Mercer and Hunterdon Counties will be considered. This position is seasonal with the possibility for long term employment.
Compensation: $12-15 per hour to start.
If you are new to construction expect only $12 an hour. This is a great opportunity to learn, and as you demonstrate reliability and ability to move jobs along, you become more valuable and worth more money.
