The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience within aerospace engineering and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. See below and apply for more details: What you’ll do:
Provide technical direction in the identification/selection of primary and alternate active/passive components in support of new and existing designs
Lead in managing and executing of the component Obsolescence Management Plan (OMP)
Support customer SDRLs for diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS) reporting
Collaborate with Purchasing/Production teams to keep current on availability/end-of-life status for components to allow proper planning across all company disciplines for alternate selection, re-design, life-time-buy, or product end-of-life dispositions
Select component alternates to overcome lead time and availability issues
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Experience with component engineering
