Data Adjustment Project Manager

Our client, a leading financial services company is hiring a Data Adjustment Project Manager on a long-term contract basis.

• The Information Services Group (ISG) organization within our client is looking for a full-time VP to join its Data Quality and Governance team. ISG is a service-centric organization focused on digitizing products/services, driving out manual work, delivering world-class client experience, and enabling growth via scalability. The Data Adjustment Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Program Manager in leading and driving execution across Asset Classes to ensure delivery against data transformation commitments.
• The role is responsible for partnering with the Data Services and Genesis Reporting team to identify new adjustments downstream in the financial systems and engaging applicable Asset Classes for analysis to understand root cause and enforce remediation work against commitments. The role will lead monthly Data Adjustment Governance Forums with each asset class to monitor monthly metrics, provide line of sight into changes (positive or negative) and address risks. In addition, the role will lead monthly Governance with GFT based on set of dependencies for downstream consumption and address gaps, issues, and risks. This is a key role to ensure commitments associated with reducing data adjustments, including adjustments that impact the Liquidity Buffer and RWA, are tightly managed towards success.
• Ensuring deliverables across asset classes are clearly defined, agreed upon and managed through weekly working sessions and formal monthly governance forums.
• Act as a change agent to implement best practices and ensure transparency and consistency across teams.
• Develop reporting/metrics to provide senior leadership with insights on opportunities and risk related to the program.
• Manage program/project reporting and related artifacts (e.g., closure documents, project plans, etc.).
• Creation of C level presentations to communicate strategy, programs, and month over month progress.

• 7+ years of program/project management experience in large scale organization or consulting.
• Exceptional level of motivation and diligence coupled with excellent communication skills (verbal and written), as well as strong relationship building skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results quickly and efficiently.
• Highly analytical individual with the ability to work independently when needed and exemplary documentation skills.
• Strong ability to influence, drive direction and results.
• Ability to focus and deliver high quality work while under pressure.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and Project.
