Job Description:POSITION SUMMARY:The position of a Lead Application Developer provides creative and technical expertise to implement high impacting solutions. The ideal candidate has strong aptitude to deliver results, meeting deadlines and creating high quality out of the box technical solutions. This is a hands-on development role and will provide an opportunity to work with modern technology stack including ReactJS, RESTful Webservices, and event-based architecture. The Lead developer will work in a very collaborative and open environment; will closely work with developers, architects, management, and other stakeholders across the organization to deliver best in class solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop & enhance programs that successfully meet objectives
  • Participate effectively in entire software development life cycle
  • Investigate and resolve application issues as needed
  • Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables
  • Collaborate with clients, Product Managers, Architects, & Analysts as needed
  • Acts as an expert source of technology and application knowledge within their domain.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned and available to work occasional evenings and weekends. .
Experience Required:
  • Object Oriented Design & Programming using Java/JEE
  • Web 2.0 Architecture
  • Web 2.0 frameworks like React, JQuery or Anjular JS.
  • ORM Frameworks like Hibernate / Java Persistence Architecture
  • Eclipse/Rational Application Developer tool / Source control - GIT
  • Java Messaging System(JMS)/Kafka
  • Dependency Injection using Guice/Spring framework
  • HTML5, CSS3 and SASS/LESS
  • Caching frameworks like Redis, Gemfire, Elastic Search.
  • Exposure to AWS cloud services.
  • Development of restful services using Jersey JAX-RS implementation
  • JSON serialization and deserialization using GSON and Jackson frameworks
  • Custom widgets and component-based development using React Java Script Frameworks
  • Agile Software Development Methodology
  • Unit testing using selenium, Gherkin/Cucumber
