The Chef’s position requires an accomplished professional that possess the appropriate combination of knowledge, skills, leadership and personality. The expectation is that the quality and consistency of all food production will exceed those of comparable establishments in the area and across the country.
Duties for the position include but are not limited to:
Minimum of 5 years’ Chef experience
Overseeing and running the food production for a night club/restaurant and catering facility
Management of 20 plus kitchen staff
Menu development
Maintaining proper labor and food cost
All purchasing and inventory of food products
Maintaining and consistency of overall food production and customer service
Working with staff to educate in food safety, food allergies and over all menu knowledge
Must be able to organize and execute multi catering functions, ranging from 30 to 2000 guests
