Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the shelter operates smoothly and efficiently while fostering a respectful and supportive community for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the shelter, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.

- Assist with the enforcement of policies, ensuring compliance with organizational guidelines and local regulations.

- Manage the maintenance of the building and oversee cleaning activities to ensure a hygienic and well-kept facility.

- Assist residents in daily tasks, helping them gain skills in self-care and independence.

- Oversee cleaning activities to ensure a hygienic and well-kept facility, promoting a healthy living environment for all residents.

- Serve as a point of contact for residents, addressing questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism.

- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, incidents, and maintenance requests.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience working in social services, housing, or community outreach preferred.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work well with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

- Computer literate

- Commitment to fostering a positive and respectful environment for residents.
