Job Description
Are you seeking a position with a growing company? Broadridge is Hiring! Broadridge is currently looking for 3 storage consultants to join our team! We need specialists with solid understanding of mainframe zOS to help prevent/eliminate space abends. The candidates should also have expert experience/knowledge in regards to:
- JCL
- PROCs
- Space Allocations
- VSAM, Sequential, and GDG files
Responsibilities:
- You’ll Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients.
- You will develop architectural components in support of business requirements and standards for application development;
- Build system and program test plans and procedures
- Develops test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications.
- Assist less experienced programmers in the coding, testing and debugging of application programs Special short-term projects may be assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong background in JCL. Experience being a 'JCL Jockey'
- Understanding and proficient experience working with PROCs
- Knowledge and working experience with Space Allocations
- Experience in technical design, layout and production concepts and practices including Sequential, VSAM, and GDG files
