Must be able to break out material take-offs from drawings provided by client.
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Research and calculate the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and transportation.
Communicate with clients, construction managers, planners, and design teams.
Substantial knowledge of architectural hardware.
Online take-off, BID Submissions, RFP's, Project estimating, follow up on pending projects, coordinate with site super awarded project, answer emails, answering phones, able to utilize building connect and read blueprints.
Able to create detailed drawings of buildings and other construction projects, using their knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and mathematics a PLUS.
Experience with AutoCAD, drafting/engineering.
