SOME WORK FROM HOME : dispatched to the field onsite

The position of Field Product Specialist provides tech support, onsite installations, & operational support to local businesses.

JOB Responsibilities are in the scope of:

1. Install POS hardware

a. Follow company guidelines to install Pos hardware

i. Windows Terminals, and POS servers

ii. Touch Screen terminals consisting of Windows, Android devices, and iPad

iii. Pos printers, Scanners, & Scales

iv. Network Switches, Routers, and Wireless Access points

b. Some Cabling work , CAT 5/6 & terminations may be required

c. Configure POS devices with Company Software to function as designated for the particular client

2. Program POS terminals to function to client specifications

a. Interview customer to come to an understanding of client needs and configure the system to meet their needs

i. Configure POS parameters to function as needed

ii. Support customer through-out go-live; onsite

iii. Perform follow appointment to ensure customer satisfaction

3. Tech support

a. Take support calls through-out the workday and at scheduled ONCALL times.

b. Resolve service issues as they arrive, either onsite, or remotely.

c. May require evening availability to assist customers with issues

4. Operational support

a. Attend to customer issues, in regards to use of our POS software

Requirements:

1. Employee must purchase basic tools.

2. Some specialty tools will be provided.

3. Willing to travel to customer locations throughout the day in the Tri-State area

4. Able to follow basic troubleshooting direction & multi-task while adapting to changes quickly.

5. Ability and willingness to lift to 50 lbs & climb a ladder on rare occasions.

6. Understanding support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.

7. Valid Drivers License required with reliable vehicle (WE COMPENSATE YOU FOR ALL TRAVEL EXPENSES)
