Our meat company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments including office space and warehouse production spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for all occupants. This role requires commitment to meeting the high standards of the USDA’s requirements of sanitation and hygiene, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties:
Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, production areas, and other common areas.
Ensure all areas are cleaned according to establishment & USDA standards.
Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Experience:
Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred.
Knowledge of the USDA standards and food safety knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and techniques is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
