Must be able to secure own transportation to and from Hoboken during weekdays and weekends
We are seeking a political Canvasser who can perform public area canvassing operations within Hoboken New Jersey. The Canvasser will work with a team of other canvassers to educate Hoboken voters about a ballot issue up for vote on November 5th 2024. The Canvassers will engage with voters in public spaces, parks, and sidewalks by utilizing educational literature and flyers will speak with voters in a friendly and engaging way to make them aware of what the ballot question is about.
-Must be able to learn about a complex issue and be able to convey those issues to members of the general public
-Experience is preferred in previous canvassing operations but not required

Requirements:
Good communication skills.
Ability to read and write in English.
Good people skills.
Energetic and physically able to walk over 3 miles during each work shift.
Prior canvassing or equivalent experience is a plus.
Proficiency in a second language (Spanish, Armenian, etc.) is a plus.
