Location: Byram Township and Fairfield, NJ

Duration: 3 month hourly to hire; full time job

Job Description

We are seeking a Production Assembler to become a valued member of our team! The ideal candidate would be an individual who under moderate supervision applies standard procedures to perform a variety of component assembly tasks, ensuring products meet our high standards.

Responsibilities:

Assembles components in accordance with drawings and operation sheets.

Responsible for weighing, loading and pressing operations.

Handle tooling and fixtures / use various hand tools to produce or modify parts.

Maintains count and order progress and logs in time / quantities.

Closes and assembles units (use of crimping and closure tools and epoxy applications).

Soldering tasks, i.e. small wire soldering, terminal soldering, bridge wire welding.

Assists with the packaging of pyrotechnic assemblies where required.

Follows required company safety practices and quality procedures.

Physical activity includes lifting up to 50lbs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields- minimum 1 year

Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Ability to work well in teams

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Location:

The position will mainly be report to our facility located in Byram Township, NJ. Upon request due to the needs of the business, there will be instances where there may be a need to report to our facility in Fairfield, NJ as well. Candidate must be willing to report to both locations to be considered.

Shift/Workweek:

Monday - Thursday

o Friday – available for overtime

Day Shift: 7:00am - 5:30pm
