St. Stephen’s is an active, growing parish centered in faith and focused on connection with the local community and the world. In addition to the worshipping congregation, the parish includes a full-time preschool and a cemetery.
The Children & Youth Minister oversees the growing Christian formation program for children, teens, and their families. We are seeking to hire someone with a passion for child and youth formation, excellent ability to relate to children, youth and adults, and a willingness to work as a member of a team
This is an 8 to 12 hour per week position with required hours and some flexibility in the schedule. Sunday mornings are required, as may be other weekend hours on a regular basis. Weekday availability, to include program preparation, supervision with the Rector, and collaboration with other youth leaders, is needed. Additional hours to staff a special outreach ministry the third week in August are available and encouraged.
