We are looking for to hire an in-house Staffing Coordinator for our Elizabeth Office

A staffing coordinator's job duties may include, reviewing resumes, identifying qualified applicants, scheduling interviews, finding appropriate job placements, and retaining valuable employees.

These professionals must have a broad knowledge of the legal implications related to hiring, retention, and termination, including, but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity laws, employment contracts, and background investigations.

Staffing coordinators must possess both effective written and interpersonal communications skills, since they will be working closely with job applicants, employees, and hiring managers to ensure that all policies and procedures are being followed. Additionally, they must be able to work well under pressure and have the capability to work discreetly with highly confidential information such as salaries and employment records.

The responsibility of the recruiter is as follows:

Conduct pre-screening, interview candidates, and place employees on job assignments.

Maintain large employee pool of qualified candidates to fill positions and back-up positions.

Ensure all orders are filled on a timely basis.

Answer phones in professional manner.

Complete clerical functions as necessary, such as, making copies, scanning, filing, etc.

Enter all employee information in database.

Ensure employee files are complete, current and are in compliance with company, local, state and federal employment regulations.

Interaction with client managers and supervisors at client sites must be approved by branch manager.

Employees must maintain a strict professional business relationship with clients.

Provide daily dispatch to owner on all orders coming and going.

Conduct meetings for associates to ensure that proper dress-code and proper conduct are being met on a quarterly basis.

Report any and all accidents, incidents, sexual harassment claims to owner as they come up.

Qualifications

- Good computer skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Must be bilingual

- Must be able to work some weekends
