About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with installation, service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. This role requires strong technical ability, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, condensers, rooftop units, heat pumps, and air handlers.
Perform diagnostics, identify system issues, and recommend appropriate repairs.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
Measure airflow, test electrical circuits, replace components, and calibrate system controls.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications.
Ensure all work meets local, state, and federal HVAC code requirements.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job progress.
Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, and team members.
Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
Valid HVAC/R license (state and/or EPA certification).
Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC installation and service experience.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC issues independently.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) or commercial HVAC controls.
Familiarity with multi-family or commercial building maintenance.
Ability to work with digital work order systems or mobile apps.
MUST HAVE MASTER LICENSE OWN TOOLS VAN W9 AND INSURANCE
