Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime available)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our maintenance team in keeping production equipment and the facility in safe, efficient working condition. The ideal candidate will assist with repairs, general maintenance, electrical work, and uphold our strong food safety culture.
Responsibilities:
Assist mechanics with minor and major repairs and installations
Perform basic electrical work as necessary
Grease and oil machinery regularly
Clean work areas, tools, and equipment
Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, wall and floor repair, replacing light bulbs, and miscellaneous outdoor duties
Help maintain storeroom inventory
Support efforts to maintain a safe and contamination-free food production environment
Qualifications:
1-3 months of related experience or equivalent training
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
Ability to read and understand safety rules and documents
Ability to speak and understand English
Forklift operation experience a plus
