Description Robert Half is looking for a Tax Manager to join our client! This Tax Manager will possess expertise in various types of tax returns and financial statements, along with proficiency in Excel and tax software and technology. Help with planning and compliance regarding tax matters, such as waivers and tax returns
Determine tax best business practices and relay to staff accountants and accounting managers
Examine and oversee quarterly and annual payroll tax returns
Prepare and reviewing complex income tax returns
Help with the preparation of quarterly tax projections and communication of required estimated tax payments
Produce and review tax correspondence and facilitation and oversight of tax audits
Help with compliance of tax and financial reporting procedures and policies
Assist in the review of the calculation and distribution of W-2s and 1099s
Requirements
The ideal Tax Manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education. CPA preferred.Other requirements for the Tax Manager position include and are not limited to:
3+ years of relevant experience at a Public Accounting Experience
Good verbal and written communications
Strong analytical and accounting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (primarily Excel)
