Tax Consultant

Nine is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Tax Consultant to join our Group Financial Accounting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to the financial operations of Australia’s largest media company, with a focus on maintaining high financial standards, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the General Ledger to ensure proper financial transactions in line with Australian Accounting Standards (AAS).Support month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations. Collaborate with finance teams for accurate reporting.Assist in preparing documentation for external audits, ensuring compliance with requirements.Implement strong internal controls and identify areas for process improvement in accounting systems and reporting.Provide analysis of financial performance, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and offer variance explanations.Work closely with divisional Business Partnering finance teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial data and effective decision-making.
