Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a dedicated Logistics/Supply Chain Agent. Based in Park Ridge, New Jersey, you will be part of a team that handles an array of tasks from sourcing to procurement, inventory management, and planning. Responsibilities: Proactively support logistics operations in the organization Take charge of sourcing materials and services as needed Actively engage in procurement activities to ensure timely acquisition of goods Maintain an efficient inventory management system Contribute to planning sessions to improve supply chain processes Use your Excel skills to perform reporting tasks related to supply chain Familiarize yourself with and use supply chain terminology such as FTL, LTL, and commercial invoices Show initiative and work independently, quickly adapting to new tasks and responsibilities Utilize your knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Logistics, and Supply Chain Strategy in your roleRequirements Minimum of 1 year of experience Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems for financial management Familiarity with Buying Processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management Understanding and experience with Global Supply Chain operations Knowledge of Supply Chain Logistics for efficient product movement and delivery Strong skills in Supply Chain Management for overseeing and managing all supply chain activities Familiarity with Supply Chain Modules for effective supply chain planning Experience in Supply Chain Risk Management for identifying and mitigating potential risks in the supply chain Ability to develop and implement Supply Chain Strategy for improving efficiency and meeting business goalsRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
